Christel Fouché started her career in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) field in 1990.
During the last 17 years she gained valuable practical SHEQ management system experience at various global industrial and mining clients. Based on this experience, Christel quickly recognised the opportunity and advantages associated with the integration of ISO/OHSAS & Legal Compliance –based management systems. Her Integrated SHEQ Auditors course is considered by many as the industry benchmark.
Christel is well known for her passion in SHEQ. She has a MBA in SHE through the University of Southern Queensland in Australia.
She is a lecturer at the University of South Africa’s Center for Business studies and she is recognised for her public speaking skills. Christel has presented various papers at conferences around the globe on OHSAS18001, Integration of management systems, Career-path development of SHEQ practitioners and Auditing principles and practices.
Her monthly article contribution to magazines are well received and appreciated. She has two dedicated columns in the Manufacturing Hub and Building Woman magazines.
Christel is Managing Director and a founder of Advantage ACT and a director of Certus Legal Compliance Services.
